Ken & Lauana Bevel
Ken played the role of firefighter "Lieutenant Michael Simmons" in the movie FIREPROOF, which is a Sherwood Pirctures Production. At Sherwood Baptist, Ken joyfully serves in the Serving our Savior (SOS) Ministry, Men's Ministry and the Worship Ministry. Ken is currently a Captain serving as an Operations Officer at the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany, Georgia. In addition, Ken has most recently returned from Kuwait in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.
Ken and Lauana have been happily married for 12 years and have a daughter, Kyra and a son Kaleb.

Welcome to the Fireproof Ball! A passion for God, love for others, and hope for families is what drives the Ephesians Family Ministry Team--which is a part of Prairie River Camp. This team is so excited to present to you this, our second event. The Ephesians Family Ministry Team recognizes that family values and Biblical family roles are being challenged. In today’s society, blending of values, roles, and political correctness is happening at such an alarming rate that that which is true, noble, and right is being tarnished. The Ephesians Family Ministry Team was born to clear the path and point families to the everlasting strength and truths of God and all that He has in store for us. It started with the Father-Daughter Purity Ball, calling fathers and daughters together and continues with the Fireproof Ball for strengthening the husband and wife team. A special event just for fathers and sons will be coming in the near future. Thank you for attending this special event.
